The North Carolina State Science and Engineering Fair will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Talley Student Center at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. Judges are needed for this important event.
If you are interested, please respond by registering on the new NC Science and Engineering Fair 2019 judge registration website: NC Science and Engineering Fair 2019 judge registration. Click “Registration” and then “Judge” and follow the on screen registration process. If you know that you are unable to attend this year, please login and under “check-in status” and click not-going. Please complete this information by Friday, March 22. When you register to judge this year, you will be able to see a confirmation letter accompanied by this year’s schedule, a judge’s handbook and a map of NC State’s Campus all under the Judge Packet tab.
Judges will need to arrive by 8:15 a.m. for registration, refreshments and a short orientation session. This session will allow you to meet fellow judges, divide into judging teams, and obtain important information to assist in judging for that day. It is critical that all judges are present for the orientation. Judging of the projects is tentatively scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The judges will view science projects without the students present in the morning and interview students in the afternoon. Please expect to be here the entire time. Refreshments and lunch are provided.
